G.S. Amonkar Vidya Mandir Mapusa won the first prize in state level patriotic singing competition titled "My Goa" organized by K. B. Hedgewar Higher Secondary School Cujira Bambolim Goa. The competition was held on 23rd November 2024. The singing group of G.S. Amonkar Vidya Mandir consisted of Shri Alok Barve, Pravin Morajkar, Sunil Bandekar, Akshay Halarnkar, Pandurang Chari, Akshay Gawde, Jayesh Bagkar, Laxmikant Chari ,Pritam Halarnkar, Roshan Shet, Vandana Chodankar, Reshma Shetye and students Miss Seva Parab and Priyanka Porob.

Teacher Mrs Roshan Shet also won the prize for Best Lyrics. The New Goa Educational Trust, management, the Headmistress Mrs. Pooja Dalvi and the Assistant Headmistress Mrs Zena Viegas has Congratulated the team for their excellent performance and achievement.
