Veer Sawarkar Punyatithi was observed in G.S Amonkar Vidya Mandir - Mapusa on 25th February 2025. On this occasion, the portrait of Swatantryaveer Vinayak Damodar Sawarkar was garlanded at the hands of the Headmistress Mrs. Pooja Dalvi and Assistant Headmistress Mrs. Zena Viegas. A speech on the life and contributions of Veer Sawarkar was delivered by teacher Mrs. Teena Mandrekar. Speeches were also given by students Miss. Bhumi Parsekar and Swaleha Bagnikar. A monologue was presented by Miss Srujan Patil. A PowerPoint presentation was also shown. Songs penned by veer Sawarkar were presented by the students. The programme was compered by Miss. Sakshi Naik.
